Assheton Court - External Design
- The significant mass and height of the building is positioned at the North East, away from neighboured boundaries
- Tiered and stepped approach increases separation from neighbouring properties
- The western portion is clad in dark timber and built further away from the boundary line reducing appearance of bulk and increasing the sense of openness in and around the site
- Locating the car park to the western boundary provides a more secure and secluded location
- The proposed parking spaces are expected to meet the need of the development. Car ownership is typically lower in older person accommodation and the site is highly accessible
- Roof top terraces increases amenity space and reduces bulk
- Renewables (photovoltaic panels)
