Fareham Council Completed Affordable Housing Schemes
Oak Tree Close, Bridge Road, Sarisbury Green 
Fareham Housing delivered 5 family homes on this site in July 2020.
The homes were split between 3 x two bedroom houses which were let at Affordable Rent level and 2 x three bedroom houses which were let at Social Rent level.
The Council were focussed on including measures to make the homes energy efficient for the occupants and lower their utility costs. As a result of this, the installation of solar panels on each property was included as part of the build project.
Rose Court, 2 Fareham Park Road, Fareham 
Fareham Housing secured planning permission in 2018 to deliver a scheme of 10x one bedroom flats and 8x two bedroom flats on this site. The flats were delivered in 2 phases with the first being completed in February 2021 and the second in July 2021.
A successful grant funding bid to Homes England for over £1.2M enabled all the homes to be made available at Social Rent levels and all the homes are now occupied by households from the Council's housing register.
Capella Close, Stubbington Lane, Hill Head 
Fareham Housing delivered 11 new affordable homes in March 2023.
All the homes were made available as shared ownership and were split as 2x one bedroom houses, 7x two bedroom houses and 2x three bedroom houses.
Located near to the seafront, the homes proved extremely popular and following the marketing period all the homes were reserved within a very short space of time.
The installation of solar panels on each home has made the homes more energy efficient and will help to lower the utility costs for the new owners.
Station Road, Portchester (Sir Randal Cremer House)
Fareham Housing secured full planning consent to build 16 x age restricted sheltered housing apartments on this site which were divided between 12 x one bedroom and 4 x two bedrooms.
This scheme completed in June 2023.
Queens Road, Fareham
Fareham Housing delivered 2 x three bedroom homes for social rent in Spring 2023.
The homes were designed to reflect the character of the area, with accessibility features such as wheelchair access. The new residents are benefiting from energy efficient homes, equipped with PV panels and air source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water. This scheme has contributed to the Council's commitment for carbon neutrality and deliver on the Housing Department's Greener Policy (2019).
Former Scout Hut, Montefiore Drive, Sarisbury Green (Ophelia Court)
Fareham Housing delivered 9 new affordable homes at the end of January 2025.
All the homes were made available as shared ownership and were split as 5x one bedroom flats and 4x two bedroom flats.
The installation of solar panels on the scheme has made the homes more energy efficient and will help to lower the utility costs for the new owners.
