What will we do if a major incident happens?

Our small emergency management team co-ordinates our response and prepares and writes our plans. They are integrated with the plans of all other relevant agencies, such as the emergency services, neighbouring local authorities, the NHS, public utilities and voluntary agencies. We regularly liaise and test them. In the event of an emergency, we would operate a central emergency control room which is suitably equipped and staffed by trained officers.
