Household Waste Recycling Centres Near Fareham

There are several household waste recycling centres (HWRC) across Hampshire, run by Hampshire County Council. They accept garden waste, bulky items and excess household waste. Hazardous household waste, including batteries, should be taken to an HWRC for safe disposal.

Booking your visit

Before visiting a Household Waste Recycling Centre in Hampshire, residents must book a slot online via the Hampshire County Council website External Hyperlink - Opens in new tab. Booking helps manage site capacity and reduce queues.

Charges apply for some types of material that exceed the per household allowance. These charges are detailed on the Hampshire Councy Council website External Hyperlink (opens in new window).

Trade waste

Trade waste is now accepted at HWRCs External Hyperlink (opens in new window) for a charge. Waste from businesses cannot be put in domestic waste or recycling bins.
