Disruptions to waste and recycling collections

Occasionally services are delayed, for example if roads are blocked by parked cars or roadworks. If a problem arises and your road is missed, please visit this page for updates.

 

 

Trinity Gardens

Due to roadworks taking place on Gordon Road we have been unable to empty the refuse bins in Trinity Gardens.  It is intended to return to empty the refuse bins on either Thursday 6/11 or Friday 7/11.  This will be anytime from 6am, please leave the bins out until emptied.

Hill Road Portchester 

(between junction of Nyewood Avenue and Caer Peris View)

Due to roadworks we have been unable to empty recycing bins.  It is intended to empty the recycling bins on Monday 10/11, this will be anytime from 6am, please leave the bins out until emptied.

September 29th 2025 til Spring 2026 - North Hill Closure

During the road closure normal bin collection points will be changed for residents from 24 to 46 North Hill.  Instead, the bins should be brought to the edge of the closure on North Hill by 6am on the collection day.  Bins should be clearly marked with the house number either with a sticker or a marker pen to avoid residents taking the wrong bins after collection.
