Cost: First visit free
Book Tickets: No
Contact: www.whiteleywags.co.uk

Whiteley WAGs WI is a modern twist on the traditional WI model. We have a wide catchment area and attract ladies of all ages, from 25 to 80. Our meetings are usually participatory as our members as our ethos is on ''learning'' as well as socialising and of course fun.

As a member you can also join in as many of our clubs as you wish. We have a very popular quarterly Dress For Dinner club which meets somewhere new each time to celebrate good local food. It is also a chance to dust off your glad rags to make the evening even more special and gives time to get to know other members of the WI in a social setting.

The Book Club meets monthly and has an impressive list of books to entertain and challenge the readers. The group is lively and members enjoy having the time and opportunity to express their personal literary views.

Our Craft Club meets monthly and again challenges our ladies to learn new skills such as lace making, spinning, sewing, crafting etc. Chatting and laughing are essential ingredients which make the craft nights very enjoyable for all.

We have recently set up a Walking group which meet from time to time to walk the wonderful countryside around the area.

All the details of the Club activities and the WI meeting programme is on our website which is regularly updated.

Please take a look at the website and come along to a meeting - you will be made very welcome.

Our meetings are at Whiteley Primary School, Gull Coppice, Whiteley at 7.30pm on the SECOND Thursday of each month.

Check the website for exact details of each meeting as some are off-site.
