£1 billion in support for businesses most impacted by Omicron across the UK

The Government have announced an additional £1 billion in support for businesses, recognising that the rise of the Omicron variant means some businesses are likely to struggle over the coming weeks.  The scheme will provide eligible Fareham based companies with a one-off grant based on the Rateable Value of their business on 30 December 2021. Grants range from £2,667 to £6,000. For further information on the Omicron scheme and details of how to apply

Further support for the hospitality sector

Recognising that many businesses in the hospitality sector, along with their suppliers and the leisure, personal care and travel sectors, may be facing difficulties in the pre-Christmas period due to concerns about the spread of the Omicron variant, the Council is looking to develop a further grant scheme to support those affected most severely impacted.

What do I need to do to claim these new grants?

If you have already made a claim for a previous grant, we will contact you if we believe that you are entitled to any of these new grants.  We will also update our website when more information becomes available.
