Speaking to you in person and listening to your views is a good way to talk about and understand local issues across the Borough. This page will tell you about how you can get involved.

Let's Talk Fareham: The Story So Far and What's Next events

The council hosted an online and in-person event to give residents the opportunity to explore key developments across the Borough with senior Councillors, including updates on Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) and Devolution, and the priorities the Council will be focusing on for the next few years.

Wedensday 26 November 6-7pm - online event.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Simon Martin delivered a live streamed presentation via the councils You Tube channel, you can view the stream using the following link Let's Talk Fareham: The Story So Far… and What's Next 

Saturday 6 December 10-12pm - In person event at the Civic Offices:

Executive Leader of the Council Cllr. Simon Martin and Deputy Executive Leader Cllr. Ian Bastable gave a joint presentation which provided an overview of both Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).

Let's Talk Fareham Roadshow 

We take the Let's Talk Fareham engagement tent to a number of popular events across the Borough to highlight the work of the council and gather your feedback on a variety of topics.

We spoke to over 800 people at the Roadshow in 2025:

• Portchester Gala 21 June 2025 -  Portchester Castle
• Fareham's Big Weekend 12-13 July - Fareham Town Centre/Bath Lane Recreation Ground 
• Play Day 13 August - Holly Hill Woodland Park 
• Victory Festival 20 September  - Daedalus
• Fareham Christmas Light Switch On 22 November - West Street, Fareham
