Engagement, events and consultations
We want everyone to play a part in shaping the future of Fareham Town Centre. This is your town, and your voice matters. Our goal is to make it easy and enjoyable for people to find out what is happening, share their ideas and be part of the regeneration journey from start to finish.
Engagement sits at the heart of our regeneration plans. So far, we have spoken with people right across the community, whether that is through our engagement tents on West Street, attending local events, visiting workplaces, hosting business breakfasts, running surveys or holding exhibitions. We will keep listening, keep learning and keep working together to create a town centre that everyone can be proud of.
Engagement we have done so far

- Public engagement on West Street, on two separate days, to understand what improvements people would like to see
- Focus groups with young people and those with accessibility needs
Place Branding

Lets Talk: Fareham Town Centre
- To create a panel that reflected the boroughs demographic, we held multiple engagement sessions across the three-month sign-up period. There was also online promotion and a press release.
- The first survey saw a response rate of 63% which is above average
General Town Centre Engagement
