Residents are being asked to help choose new play equipment as part of plans to upgrade a play area in Sarisbury.

Sweethills Crescent play area is getting three additional pieces of play equipment and people are being asked to select their favourites from a list of six possibilities.

Residents are being asked to choose three options from:

The additional equipment will be placed on an area of grass which is currently empty. Work on the play area is expected to begin in 2019.

A consultation will run from Tuesday 29 May to Tuesday 26 June for people to cast their vote at or visit the Council's Facebook and Twitter pages.

The upgrade is part of Fareham Borough Council's five-year Play Area Improvement Programme.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell, said: "We would like residents to help us choose the new equipment to make sure we provide suitable facilities for everyone to enjoy for years to come."
