Traders to swap ideas over breakfast

Traders in Fareham town centre have been invited to a breakfast meeting to talk about how they can work together to keep trade flowing into the town.

Shop owners are being welcomed along to a Business Breakfast on Tuesday December 11 from 8am to 9.30am at Ferneham Hall to meet with Council staff to discuss how they can support traders.

The breakfast meeting has been set up so traders can air any concerns and issues and see how the Council and traders can work together to create a better future for the town centre.

Cllr Seán Woodward, Leader of Fareham Borough Council, will host the event and Tim Clark from Vail Williams (commercial property and retail specialists) will deliver a presentation and question and answer session about the changing face of retail and the future outlook for town centres such as Fareham.

Cllr Woodward said: "We want to work together to improve the town centre and want as many traders as possible to come along so we can exchange ideas. The more we work together, the brighter the future for our high street."

If you would like to attend please email Janet Mizen at jmizen@fareham.gov.uk or telephone her on 01329 824361 prior to the event. Refreshments will be provided.
