Council to survey car parks

A survey of Fareham's town centre car parks will take place to gather information about parking habits to aid future parking plans.

Fareham Borough Council has commissioned consultants Alpha Parking to carry out the work on Thursday 13 December, Saturday 15 December and Monday 17 December between 10am and 3pm each day.

Consultants will be wearing hi-visibility clothing and have an Alpha Parking badge whilst they carry out the research in the car parks.

The survey will help the Council understand the needs of the car park's users and make sure adequate parking provision for the town centre is maintained in the future.

The consultants will not collect any information that can be used to identify a car or owner when doing the work and car park users will not be questioned.
