Brighten up the community!

Free bulbs will be given away to Fareham residents for planting within community green spaces as part of our ‘In Bloom’ activities programme. Over four million bulbs have been planted since the initiative began 28 years ago bringing a riot of colour to the Borough in time for spring.

One hundred bags of bulbs sponsored by Fareham Shopping Centre will be available to collect from St Margaret’s Nursery in Titchfield from Monday 9 September to Friday 20 September. The bulbs are available on a first come first served basis.

Executive Member for Streetscene, Councillor Simon Martin, said: “This initiative is a wonderful way for residents to get involved in maintaining the charm of our borough and add to the award-winning Fareham in Bloom initiative. I would encourage all residents to get involved and help get our community green spaces ready for spring!"

The bulbs must be planted within the community for the benefit of others to see and proof of residency is required when collecting the bulbs.
