Press Release

8 February 2021

Don’t forget to have your say on Fareham’s finances

Do you have ideas about how the Council should pay for vital public services?

Residents have until 19 February to take part in the ‘Balancing the Books’ consultation.

The consultation addresses the financial strain the Council is under in light of the pandemic and reduced Government funding.

Residents are asked to take part in a survey, asking questions about ideas for cost saving and income generation in a wide range of Council services.

More details and a link to the survey can be found on the Council’s virtual exhibition page at www.fareham.gov.uk/have_your_say/balancingthebooks

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, said:
“This is a chance for residents to tell us what their priorities are for Fareham’s future, and about the services they value the most. Please take the time to fill in the survey, we want to ensure our decisions and priorities are right for everyone.”
