Press Release

18 February 2021

Last chance to have your say on Fareham’s finances

Residents have just one day left to take part in a consultation about how the Council should fund vital services.

The ‘Balancing the Books’ consultation closes tomorrow (19 February).
As part of it, residents are asked to complete a survey, asking about early ideas for cost saving and income generation in a range of Council services.

A link to the survey and further information can be found at: www.fareham.gov.uk/have_your_say/balancingthebooks

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, said:
“The financial impact of the pandemic, combined with reduced Government funding, means we will have to make some tough decisions in the future. It’s important to us that these decisions are informed by residents’ views, so please take the time to fill in the survey.”
