Fareham Borough Council urges residents to act early on problem debt

As part of Debt Awareness Week, which runs from the 22-28 March, Fareham Borough Council is working in partnership with Citizens Advice to encourage residents to act early on problem debt. 

Citizens Advice have been present in Fareham since 1942 and work in partnership with the Council to provide help and support to residents on issues such as debt awareness, housing concerns, consumer problems, relationship issues and employment worries.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant repercussions for many people over the last year, leaving many struggling financially. Citizens Advice Fareham can provide much needed support during these challenging times and can be easily accessed by either phone on 01329 223117 or via webchat at https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk

Biddy Mayo, Citizens Advice Fareham’s Chief Officer said: “We know that many people are struggling to pay their bills and the worry of debt impacts on every area of their lives. Please pick up the phone and ask for our advice. Our experienced advisors will help you reach a resolution so you can move forward with a plan.”
