Fareham Borough Council is inviting residents to have their say on its draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2022-2025.

The consultation will run from 18 October to 13 December and the details can be found on the Council’s website: https://www.fareham.gov.uk/have_your_say/.  Paper copies of the survey will be available in libraries, on request from the Civic Offices or by phoning 01329 236 100.

Cllr Fred Birkett, Executive Member for Housing, said: “I strongly encourage Fareham residents to have their say on this new strategy. It will enable more people to get a wider range of advice and support with a clear focus on intervention to prevent rough sleeping early on. This should then help to tackle overall levels of homelessness, which is something that Fareham is strongly committed to. By taking part in this consultation, residents can help to inform us of potential changes that may be required to ensure we are able to combat homelessness and rough sleeping well into the future.”
