Have your say on Portchester play area

Fareham Borough Council is making improvements to the Kenwood Road play area in Portchester and would like to hear resident views about how it could be made better.

As part of a five-year plan of play area improvement programme, Kenwood Road is one of the final four expected to be completed by the Autumn 2022 and a public consultation has been launched to get residents’ views.

Not only will the current equipment and surfacing be refreshed where necessary, but additional items of equipment of will be added.

The consultation will close on Monday 28 February and you can have your say here: www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Walker, said: “I would like to encourage parents local to the Kenwood Road play area to have their say as part of this consultation. It is so important that all children are able to get outdoors to play, stay fit and healthy, and socialise with other children. That’s why we are asking for ideas and suggestions to help ensure the park in inclusive and delivers what our local children really want and need.”
