Have your say on Titchfield play area

Fareham Borough Council is making changes to the Kites Croft Close play area and would like to hear residents’ views on what improvements could be made.

Situated in Titchfield Common, Kites Croft Close play area is one of four play areas remaining to be updated under the Council’s five-year programme of play area improvements. As the work is expected to be completed in autumn 2022, residents’ views are now being sought through a public consultation.

As well as making general improvements to the site, such as re-painting equipment, pressure washing and fixing surfacing where necessary, new equipment may be added to help make the play area more interactive and inclusive.

The consultation will close on Monday, 7 March and you can have your say here: www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Walker, said:

“I would appeal to parents who are local to the Kites Croft Close play area to give their views as part of this consultation. Playing outdoors is so important to children, and that’s why we are asking for ideas and suggestions to help make this play area more inclusive and fun for everyone.”

For more information about which play areas have already received improvements, and which ones are on the list for 2022 please visit Play Area Improvements (fareham.gov.uk)
