New Beach Hut for Sale at Hill Head

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to advise that, following planning consent, a replacement beach hut has been installed at Cliff Road, Hill Head and is now available to purchase.

Due to the volume of interest received, the newly installed beach hut will be offered for sale on the open market using a sealed bid process. The guide price is offers in excess of £32,000, which has been calculated based on beach hut sales achieved at this location.

If you are interested in submitting a bid, please complete the tender form found on the Council’s website here, along with proof of funds. Return the form in a sealed envelope by 11 July 2022 to:

Bids will be opened on 11 July 2022 and the Council will contact the successful applicant by close of business on 12 July 2022.

The successful applicant will be required to sign a Beach Hut agreement and pay the balance in full within 14 days of the closing date. The new owner will also be liable for paying the annual beach hut ground rent from the date of sale.
