Press Release

27 June 2022

Access All Areas is back this summer!

An opportunity to try sailing, climbing, scuba and many more activities is being offered to young people in Fareham during the summer holidays this year.

The Access All Areas scheme is aimed at youngsters aged 11 to 16 who live or go to school in the Borough. This year we are working with some fantastic local organisations to put on lots of different activities. Spaces will be limited, so parents or guardians must register young people early to avoid disappointment.

Youngsters can take part in one activity per week throughout August, and there will be a one-off fee of £10 (including VAT) to cover all their sessions. Registration opens today (27 June) and closes Friday 15 July, subject to the availability of spaces.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Sue Walker, said: “Access All Areas provides so many exciting activities for young people to enjoy in a safe environment. I am delighted that we are able to offer the scheme again this summer, thanks to the support of local businesses, clubs and groups allowing us to offer such a variety of activities. Places will fill up quickly, so remember to register early.”

All of the details, including how to register and a full list of events, is available online at www.fareham.gov.uk/aaa.

If you have any questions about Access All Areas, please contact the Leisure Team on 01329 236100 or email leisure@fareham.gov.uk.
