Have your say on Biodiversity requirements for planning developments

Fareham Borough Council has launched a public consultation today concerning additional guidance for the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Policy that is in the Local Plan 2037.  The policy requires habitat for wildlife to be left in an improved condition – by at least 10% - after development.

Executive Member for Planning and Development Cllr Simon Martin said: “I am very proud that our Local Plan sets out how the Borough can develop and grow in a sustainable way, taking into consideration environmental needs.
