Daedalus – A High Flying Success Story

Fareham Borough Council has produced a Vision Update to showcase some of the major achievements that have been made at its Daedalus site, as well as to outline some next steps for the future.

Daedalus – A High Flying Success Story’ highlights some of the key milestones that have been made since the Council purchased the site in 2015 and the considerable amount of work that it has taken so far towards achieving the Council’s Vision.  You can view the publication here:

The Vision Update has been published ahead of the Daedalus Scrutiny Panel meeting tomorrow, when it will be reviewed by the Committee along with a report by the Director of Planning and Regeneration.  The Scrutiny Panel provides an opportunity for members to comment ahead of consideration of the progress made on delivering the Council’s Vision, and proposed next steps, by the Council’s Executive at their meeting on Monday 4 March.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward, said: “I am immensely proud of everything that has been achieved at the Daedalus site since we purchased it in 2015, and I would like to thank each and every individual who has made these successes possible. We knew that Daedalus had huge potential to attract new businesses and create skilled employment opportunities for local people, so it is a thrill to see this come to fruition. I encourage Fareham residents to take a look at this specially created brochure, which shows just how much has been achieved at the site by this Council over the last nine years or so.”
