Fareham Town Centre – Business Breakfast

Fareham Borough Council is seeking feedback from local businesses on what they would like to see included in future town centre regeneration plans, at a free Business Breakfast event on Monday 25 March.

In recent months, the Council has been undertaking various consultations, surveys, meetings and workshops to engage with members of the public and other stakeholders. This has helped to identify four pillars and five strategic objectives that will guide the Council’s plans as they move forward.

A key consideration for any regeneration plan is the local and independent businesses within the town centre. That is why Fareham Borough Council is inviting business owners and managers to a Business Breakfast to discuss the concepts and ideas that have been put forward so far and ask for their feedback.

This free event is taking place at the Council’s Civic Offices on Monday 25 March from 7.45am-9.00am. There are limited spaces available so businesses are encouraged to reserve a spot to avoid disappointment.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward, said:

“Now that Fareham Borough Council owns Fareham Shopping Centre, we have a unique opportunity to transform our town centre in a considered and meaningful way. We need our local businesses and independent traders to join in the discussion so we can take their feedback on board, so I urge them to come long to this businesses breakfast to have their say.”
