Press Release

24 June 2024

Access All Areas returns this summer

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to announce that the popular Access All Areas scheme will return in August this year.

Young people aged 11 to 16 years old, who live or go to school in Fareham, can enjoy a number of activities such as bowling, sailing, tennis, pool party, Top Rock climbing and gym sessions, all arranged by fantastic local organisations on behalf of the Council.

The scheme runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, commencing 6 August 2024 and ending 29 August 2024. Youngsters can choose up to three activities to take part in for a one-off cost of £10 (including VAT).

Registration opens on Monday 1 July 2024, with spaces available on a first come, first served basis. Sessions must be booked by parents or guardians by the closing date of Friday 26 July 2024. As spaces are limited, it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment. For this year only, as a way of celebrating the Council's 50th anniversary, the 50th person to register for the scheme will win a prize.

Limited free spaces are available, for which referrals can be taken through social workers, youth workers and schools. To facilitate this, the Leisure and Community Team must be contacted by telephone or email.

For more details of the scheme and how to book, please visit www.fareham.gov.uk/aaa.
