Pilates classes come to Fareham Live

Fareham Live, in partnership with Everyone Active, has today announced the launch of a new Pilates class to be held at the venue.

Fareham Live was designed to be a community venue as well as a thriving theatre. Now that venue operators, Trafalgar Theatres, is running a successful programme of productions and performances at the venue, it is keen to ensure that local residents can also use the space on a regular basis for other activities.

From 14 May 2025, a new Pilates session will take place in Studio 2 each Wednesday at 12.30pm. The class is suitable for all abilities and the public can book onto the class in the following ways;

The cost of the sessions is £8.15 per class and no Everyone Active Membership is required to take part. Residents simply need to set up a free Everyone Active Account, which can also be done using the methods above. These new sessions are also included in existing members’ class package.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: “I am delighted that these Pilates sessions are going to be taking place at Fareham Live. The timing of the weekly class is perfect for those that work in the town centre to come along in their lunch break and get their bodies moving. It’s so beneficial to health and wellbeing and, as the sessions are going to be run by Everyone Active, I know that it will be a great class. This is the first of many plans to use Fareham Live for the benefit of the whole community long into the future.”

Ryan Grant, Everyone Active’s contract manager, added: “We’re really pleased to bring Pilates to Fareham Live as part of our wider mission to support community health and wellbeing. It’s a fantastic space, and we look forward to welcoming people of all abilities to enjoy the benefits of staying active in a fun, accessible way.”

Stephan Stockton, Director at Trafalgar Theatres, concluded: "We're excited to be bringing Pilates classes to Fareham Live and look forward to welcoming participants to our studio. We hope to see people in our on-site café to enjoy lunch, coffee, or a slice of cake before or after their class."
