Let's Talk Progress: Fareham Town Centre

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to announce the launch of its Town Centre Perception Panel, a new initiative designed to gather valuable insights from those who live, work, and visit the town centre.

As part of the Council’s ongoing delivery of its Town Centre Regeneration Strategy, there will be a range of changes and improvements to Fareham town centre. To ensure these changes are developed to incorporate the needs and aspirations of the community, the Council is establishing an online panel to monitor public perception and help inform future development.

The Council wants to create a panel that reflects the Fareham community – across all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and experiences. Members will be able to:

Participants in the panel will be invited to complete brief surveys twice a year. This feedback helps guide real progress. In recognition of their contributions, they will be entered into prize draws for town centre-related rewards.

Those interested in joining the panel are encouraged to apply online at www.fareham.gov.uk/towncentreregen by 31 July 2025.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Simon Martin said:

“We want to hear from people who live, work, and spend time in Fareham. Your views will help shape the future of our town centre and ensure it remains a vibrant and welcoming place for everyone. The Town Centre Perception Panel will provide an important channel to share your views, and I encourage anyone with an interest in our town centre to apply.”
