Get ready for Play at the Podium this summer!

Fareham Borough Council is delighted to announce that free activities for children will be taking place during the summer holidays in Fareham this year.

Play at the Podium will take place every Thursday throughout August in the town centre, with all sessions running from 11.00am to 1pm in and around the podium in West Street. The timetable is shown below:

• 7 August: Circus Skills Workshop, craft activities by the Craft Makery and hair braiding
• 14 August: Crazy M, craft activities by the Craft Makery and hair braiding
• 21 August: Puppet show, hair braiding and face painting
• 28 August: Interactive storytelling, craft activities by the Craft Makery and hair braiding

There is no need to book and all activities are free of charge. Under 11s must be accompanied by an adult.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Mrs Connie Hockley, said:

“I am thrilled that children will be able to enjoy these free activities at the podium each Thursday throughout August. It’s a great way to have fun and stay active while making the most of the summer holidays.”
