Press Release

13 August 2025

Step back in time at Bygone Fareham

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to announce that its popular Bygone Fareham event will be taking place in West Street on Saturday 13 September 2025.

The event is completely free with activities for all the family to enjoy. From 10am until 4pm, the pedestrianised area of West Street will be transformed into a vibrant showcase of classic cars, child-friendly activities and live music and dancing under the podium.

Proud owners from groups such as the South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society, Morris Minors Owners Club, Original Minis Group 59-00, and Solent Mini Club will be in attendance, alongside many independent enthusiasts. Visitors will have the chance to admire these timeless vehicles and chat with their owners.

In addition, visitors can enjoy a pop-up mini artisan market near the podium, where retro-inspired goods and unique gifts will be available.

Councillor Connie Hockley, Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, said:

“Bygone Fareham is a cherished highlight in Fareham’s events calendar, and I’m thrilled to see it return to the town centre. With something for all ages to enjoy, it’s a wonderful way for the community to come together and celebrate all things vintage.”
