Residents are encouraged to have their say on what they would like to see improved at each of the three play areas. Feedback will help shape the final designs and ensure that the upgrades reflect the needs of local communities. The consultation will run from 23 February until 20 March 2026 and residents, and other interested parties can take part here: www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations

Paper copies are available during opening hours at the Fareham Borough Council Civic Offices.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Connie Hockey, said: Our play areas are important spaces for families to come together, play, and enjoy the outdoors. As part of our ongoing improvement programme, we want to ensure these facilities remain safe, modern, and engaging for children of all ages. We’re asking residents to share their ideas and tell us what they value most so we can create play spaces that truly meet community needs.”
