Board Game Lounge coming to Fareham

Fareham Borough Council is teaming up with the Fareham and Gosport Board Game Lounge to hold a free monthly ‘Board Game Lounge’ in Fareham Shopping Centre across the summer months.

Taking place at the Ping Pong Parlour in Fareham Shopping Centre the Board Game Lounge will take place across three Thursdays from 7pm-10.30pm:

Players are welcome to bring their own modern board games from quick, light fillers to long, thematic adventures such as:

The events are open to complete beginners as well as seasoned hobbyists and are suitable for those over 16 years. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Frair Burgess said: “I am delighted that the Ping Pong Parlour will be given an extended use for these Board Game Lounge events this summer. This is another way in which we are revitalising the town centre – opening it up to different audiences with more diverse and inclusive events. I hope that these events will be successful so we can continue them in the future and encourage anyone interested to book their place today.”
