Bringing new initiatives to the Town Centre

Fareham Board Game Lounge 

As part of our ongoing regeneration work and commitment to creating a vibrant, welcoming town centre, we've partnered with the Fareham and Gosport Board Game Lounge to bring a free monthly Board Game Lounge to Fareham Shopping Centre over the summer months.

This initiative is all about bringing people together - offering a relaxed space to meet, play, and connect. Whether you're a keen board gamer or simply looking for a friendly, informal way to spend time with friends and family, everyone is welcome to get involved.

Indoor Pop-up Market

In the heart of the shopping centre, the former Game unit has been transformed into a vibrant pop-up indoor market, now named The Courtyard, with purpose-built market stalls made from recycled wood to fill empty units and offer flexible pop-up opportunities for independent businesses. 

Fareham's Festive Thursdays 

December 2025, we introduced Fareham's Festive Thursdays - a new event designed to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere in the town centre during the festive season.

With late night shopping until 8pm, the evenings bring together a mix of free, family-friendly activities, including children's entertainment, storytelling, creative workshops, mini golf, and festive crafts. Visitors can also enjoy a festive indoor market, Santa's Grotto activities, and roaming performers with music, dance, and seasonal cheer.

A range of festive food and drink stalls add to the experience in Fareham's Winter Garden, creating a space for the community to come together, celebrate, and enjoy everything the town centre has to offer.
