The Titchfield Neighbourhood Forum has prepared a Neighbourhood Plan for Titchfield. The Plan sets out their vision for the future of Titchfield and contains planning policies to guide the development and use of land in Titchfield. The results of the Referendum held on 18 July 2019 have been published.
On 3rd June 2019, the Executive of the Council agreed to progress the Titchfield Neighbourhood Plan to referendum. The referendum will take place on 18th July 2019. Following a consultation carried out by the Council on behalf of the Titchfield Neighbourhood Forum, the plan was submitted for independent examination earlier this year. The Council has received the report on the examination of the Titchfield Neighbourhood Plan. The examiner has confirmed that, subject to a number of modifications, the Plan should progress to the next and final stage which is a public referendum.

We ran a consultation on the Titchfield Neighbourhood Plan from 23 November 2018 to 11 January 2019. Representations were put forward by residents online and by email. There were paper copies of the Draft Neighbourhood Plan at the following locations and residents were able to complete paper form responses if they wanted to:
The Council will submit the neighbourhood plan, supporting documents and associated comments and representations to an independent Examiner, who will determine if the plan meets the basic conditions.

The Council consulted with the public on both applications between 14 December 2016 and 17 February 2017. In total, 25 responses were received with most supportive of the proposed Neighbourhood Forum and Area.
The decisions to designate Titchfield Neighbourhood Forum and Neighbourhood Area were taken at a meeting of the Council's Executive on 6 March 2017. The decisions underwent a call-in period and the designations were formalised on the 20 March 2017.
The Titchfield Neighbourhood Forum is authorised to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for the Titchfield Neighbourhood Area, which is shown on the plan to the right.
