In March 2019, the Council received applications for the designation of:
The application submitted by the Warsash Forum is set out below:
When an organisation submits an application to be designated as a neighbourhood forum to the local planning authority Government legislation and regulations require them to:
Due to data protection regulations, the Council cannot publish the list of members, but can confirm it has received a list which satisfies the requirement.
The Council have consulted on the proposals set out in both applications from Tuesday 9 April to Tuesday 21 May 2019.
Comments have been encouraged from people who live, work or carry out business in the Warsash area marked in the map.
The results are now being analysed by the planning and consultation team.
The Council will review all the comments and make a decision on both the designation of the forum and the area. If there are no reasons which would prevent the area or forum from being designated, this would mean that they could start preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for the area (see map on right).
Once designated the forum could also become a consultee for the area for the next five years.
Also if designated, no proposal can come forward for another prospective neighbourhood forum within the Warsash Neighbourhood Area.
More information about the process of Neighbourhood Planning can be found here.
The online comments form is now closed as this consultation has ended. If you have a query about the consultation then please email firstname.lastname@example.org . Alternatively, you can view the closed consultation page.
Please note that Fareham Borough Council may withdraw a neighbourhood forum designation if we consider the forum to be no longer:
Where a body's designation is withdrawn, the Council will give reason/s to the body.
