Shared Spaces: Key InformationSensory Garden in Fareham

Fareham is fortunate to have a large number of open and shared spaces that we can all use and enjoy.

How do I report a problem?

The best way to report a problem is by using the 'Report It' page on our website. Here you can report a repair, a problem in a communal area inside our buildings or even one outside, such as anti-social behaviour. You can also contact your local Neighbourhood Officer if you have any problems.

What do I have to do as a tenant?

As a tenant of Fareham Housing, you also have a number of responsibilities to help keep our shared spaces clean and tidy. Full details can be found in your tenancy agreement, but include:

Your tenancy agreement also details any service charges you may need to pay to help cover costs like cleaning communal areas and grass cutting.

What does the Council have to do?

Fareham Borough Council and Fareham Housing are responsible for repairs to your home, for cleaning our streets and keeping our parks and open spaces maintained, as well as other things you might not expect. For full details, you can visit our 'Clean and Tidy' or 'Housing' pages of our website. Sometimes, the Council is not always able to act alone, and will work with partners to tackle various problems such as anti-social behaviour.

Who do I contact?

If you need any further information, please get in touch with your local Neighbourhood Officer or contact us with any questions.
