Meet your Principal Tenant Engagement Officer! 

Hello everyone, I'm Eden Singh the new Principal Tenant Engagement Officer here at Fareham Borough Council. I'm here to ensure there are lots of different ways for you to get involved, hold us to account and make your voice heard.

You'll be hearing a lot more from me, asking for your views and providing you with news and information.We have created new opportunities for you to get involved, at a level that suits you. This can be through joining a project group, becoming  a volunteer or just by staying informed on the work we do.

You can find out how to take part on our get involved page. By working together, we can improve the services provided by Fareham Housing.

December 2025 

1. On Saturday 4 October, 5 of our tenants attended the South Coast Training (SCT) event.  SCT brings tenants together from the South Coast region for an informative and interactive day of training and networking with tenants from other towns and organisations.

The next event is taking place on Saturday 25 April 2026 and there are 6 free spaces available for Fareham Housing Tenants!

2. The Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) been busy working on our very first scrutiny review, looking at how the Council handles complaints.

They are now putting together our findings in a report and will be sharing that report with Housing Management and Members at the end of January 2026. 

After that meeting, TAG will be updating all tenant, they'll make sure the report is available online and in key community hubs so it's accessible to everyone.

Stay up to date with what TAG are doing. 

 

3. Is there a specific area, policy or service that you would like to focus on? We have launched our new Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) in January, which delivers tenant scrutiny for the Council. If you're interested contact your Principal Tenant

4. Liberty Gas draws three winners and presents them with their £50 vouchers! 

As part of our new contract with Liberty Gas giving access on the first visit could win you £50 in our prize draw. Don't miss out! 

Your tenant representative who was involved with tender and is now involved with monitoring the contract, picked out at random three tenant addresses from the draw.
