Beaches and Coastal Areas
There are are a number of beautiful beaches and coastal areas to explore. This section has more information on our beach locations and slipways. If you are going to be a regular visitor, you can get a coastal parking permit at a concessionary annual rate of £95 for Fareham residents.
Play Areas
The Council manages 46 children's play areas across the Borough providing a range of exciting play equipment, some of which is inclusive, as well as many other outdoor facilities for children and young people.
Open Spaces
The Borough has a variety of gardens and other open spaces for you to enjoy. This section lets you know where to go to enjoy the great outdoors.

Leisure Centres
There are two leisure centres in the Borough where you can go for a swim, hit the gym to keep fit and healthy, or meet up with friends.
Fareham Leisure Card
Fareham Leisure Card is a membership scheme available to all residents of the Borough, providing discounts on various activies. Shopping, Restaurants and Entertainment
For those that like a bit of retail therapy, there are plenty of individual shops, cafes, restaurants and businesses across the Borough, as well as Fareham Shopping Centre featuring big brand names. There is also a cinema and bowling alley located in the town centre.

History of Fareham
If history is your thing, the fascinating Westbury Manor Museum tells the story of the Borough of Fareham. There are also a number of historical places to visit in the borough such as Titchfield Abbey and Portchester Castle .
