Classic Cars and Vintage Entertainment in Fareham

Enthusiasts of all things vintage are invited to join Fareham Borough Council’s Bygone Fareham event on Saturday 10 September.

Taking place in the pedestrianised area of West Street between 10am and 4pm, this event is free for all the family. Classic vehicles will be displayed for visitors to admire and there will also be vintage style singing and dancing to entertain the crowds.

Local groups South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society, Morris Minors Owners Club, Portsmouth and Southampton Mini Club and Solent Mini Club are already signed up and owners will be on hand to answer any questions about their vehicles.

Anyone with a car aged 25 years or older is also welcome to come along and display their vehicle. To register your vehicle, please call the Leisure Team on 01329 236100 or email leisure@fareham.gov.uk before 2 September.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Sue Walker, said: “Bygone Fareham is always such a popular Town Centre event, with something for everyone to enjoy. I encourage Fareham residents to come along and take a look. Anyone with a vintage vehicle can also join in the display be getting in touch with our Leisure team.”
