Special offer for garden waste subscribers

Fareham Borough Council is delighted to offer residents the opportunity to sign up for its garden waste subscription service and receive their wheelie bin for HALF PRICE.

The Clip and Collect garden waste subscription service was launched in early 2022 and has been hugely successful with more than 20,600 Fareham households having their garden waste collected every two weeks with their recycling.

To encourage even more residents to benefit from a subscription, the Council is launching a special offer for a limited time only. From now until 31 August 2023, residents can receive their brown-lidded wheelie bin for half price.

Residents can choose from two bin sizes:

1. 140 litre wheelie bin:

• Annual subscription £55
• Half price bin at £18.50 instead of £37

2. 240 litre wheelie bin:

• Annual subscription £65
• Half price bin at £19.50 instead of £39

Residents can have up to five bin subscriptions and this offer also extends to existing subscribers who wish to purchase additional bins. The brown-lidded bins keep waste contained and dry with less mess, plus each one collected by the Council helps to reduce carbon emissions in the Borough as it avoids residents making unnecessary trips to the tip.

Executive Member for Streetscene at Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Ian Bastable, said: “The Clip and Collect service has been hugely popular since its launch in 2022. However, we know there are still some households across the Borough without a subscription. That’s why we are offering residents the opportunity to purchase garden waste bins at a reduced cost for a limited time. If anyone is thinking of subscribing, now is the time to sign up and take advantage of this significant saving.”
