Fareham Live is Portsmouth Business Awards Finalist
Fareham Borough Council is delighted to announce that Fareham Live has been shortlisted in the 'Visitor Attraction/Event of the Year' category at the 2026 Portsmouth Business Awards.
The Portsmouth Business Awards recognise, reward and celebrate all the successful businesses and professional individuals within Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. This 'Visitor Attraction/Event of the Year' category celebrates the outstanding contribution of a local attraction or event in drawing visitors to the area and in providing truly memorable visitor experiences.
Fareham Live was nominated by the Council as it has not only proven to be an incredibly successful theatre; showcasing world-class entertainment including national touring shows, comedy, music and more; it is also a thriving community location, leading the way in the regeneration of Fareham town centre.
Fareham Live named 'Regeneration Project of the Year' at South Coast Property Awards
Fareham Borough Council is delighted that Fareham Live has been recognised as 'Regeneration Project of the Year' at the South Coast Property Awards 2025, after being entered by Stride Treglown who are one of the architects that worked on the redesign.
The judges described the project as 'kick-starting urban regeneration in an existing town centre' as well as 'a brave, bold and significant expenditure'. The judges also highlighted that the development not only brings pride locally and regionally but will bring economic benefit to the area for years to come.
It is a brilliant recognition, showcasing the start of many regeneration projects to come.
More information is available in the press release.

Let's Talk Progress: Fareham Town Centre Perception Panel
As Fareham Borough Council begins to develop and deliver projects in the Town Centre, we want to ensure that they have a positive impact on the town's residents and visitors. To do this, we have built a panel that truly reflects our whole community – across all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and experiences.
Panel members will be emailed questions twice a year and asked about their views on the town as it changes. For every survey completed members will be entered into draws for Town Centre related prizes e.g. vouchers.
