Mayor of Fareham's Charity Events 2026/2027

The Mayor will be supporting four charities during her time in office: The Rainbow Centre, Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS), The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) and Vetlife.

In addition to the events listed below, a variety of other events will be published soon. Keep an eye on the website for further information.

Charity tea parties

The Mayor's Charity Tea parties will take place in 2026, commencing at 2.30pm in the Council Chamber.

The cost is £5 per person, payable on the day. There will be a programme of different speakers, with afternoon tea provided.

The facts and fiction of the Bus industry from the new framework to how they run (or not), Geoff Fazackarley, an Operations Controller of some 38 years, gives you how the bus service is scheduled to change, effective from September. This will also include an opportunity for a question and answers session, so you'll get the updated answers 'hot off the press'.
