Food vouchers

Fareham Borough Council have been allocated funding to distribute food vouchers to residents:

Arrangements are being made to distribute these one-off vouchers through August and September 2022. Find out more at the connect4communities website External Hyperlink.

Community pantries

For those that are struggling to afford food, residents can get their groceries and provisions once a week at a fraction of the cost by registering to a community pantry. The recommended donation is £5.00 per visit and customers will then receive a minimum of £15 worth of food, including fresh and frozen items, toiletries and household items.

Any family in receipt of free school meals for their child can use the Community Pantries and access affordable food. Please talk to your school in the first instance to access the Community Pantries.

If you are struggling financially, but are not receiving free school meals, please speak with your child's school who can consider whether any financial support can be given. Alternatively, you can contact Citizens Advice Fareham.

There are three community pantries at the following locations. Each of the pantries are run slightly differently and have different registration criteria. Residents are encouraged to contact their local pantry before they visit to check opening days, times and to find out how to register.
