No memorial can be erected on a grave without the permission of Fareham Borough Council.
Applications can only be approved where it has been signed by the owner of the exclusive right of burial.
To help protect members of the public and to ensure a consistently high level of quality, we only permit memorial masons who are accredited by either National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) or British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM) to erect memorials in the Council's cemeteries.
You can see a full list of accredited masons at www.namm.org.uk and www.bramm-uk.org
