Could your business inspire young people?
The Solent Primary Schools' STEM Fair gives your business an opportunity to develop your recruitment pipeline from a young age. At the fair, businesses are asked to create a short 20 or 30 minute STEM activity that young people in groups can take part in. The aim is for young people to have fun, take part in a STEM activity and at the end link the STEM activity to careers, so that they can see that if they can build a toy car, for example, they could build other things and if they had fun they might enjoy a career in that industry. Young people will be in groups that will rotate throughout the day between the businesses. The event takes place at CEMAST in Fareham on 8th and 9th March 2023, so now is the perfect time to get involved !
