In October 2024, Fareham Borough Council opened an evening North-South route through Fareham Shopping Centre, providing a direct path for theatre-goers and those enjoying the town's pubs, restaurants and nightlife. Barclays Eagle Labs 'Pop-Up' at Fareham Innovation Centre
On Tuesday 20 May, Barlcays Eagle Labs returns to with their quaterly pop-up business clinic at Fareham Innovation Centre. Barlcays Eagle Labs offers free business support and advice to all size organisations, whether you bank with them or not, wherever you are based. They also have a lot of useful on-line resources from mentoring schemes to angel investors, and everything in between, and speaking with an advisor in-person means you can get advice tailored to your individual needs.

Unlock Your Business Potential at the Fareham Growth Clinic
Following the success of the first Fareham Growth Clinic back in March, Hampshire Growth Hub is excited to return to Fareham Innovation Centre, offering one-on-one meetings to assist businesses looking to overcome challenges and grow.
In partnership with Fareham Borough Council, Senior Growth Champion Roya Croudace will be available to discuss how you can attract more customers, boost sales, or get funding ready. With an impressive track record in developing and delivering start-up and scale-up programmes, Roya has successfully supported over 400 high-growth businesses in the past five years.

Barnbrook lifts off with air ambulance
Fareham-based Barnbrook Systems has partnered with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, donating £2,000 and an E:BAG fire suppression system. The charity faced a 40% increase in deployments in 2024, responding to a record 2,544 calls. Barnbrook's support will help the charity continue its lifesaving work.
Managing director Andrew Barnett said: "We are delighted to partner with such a valuable charity which saves lives and makes a difference to the community. The air ambulance has also become the first of 11 nationwide to receive one of our E:BAGs."
The charity's chief executive, Richard Corbett, thanked Barnbrook for their dedication, emphasizing the importance of local collaboration to meet increasing demand.
Barnbrook, a regular supporter of local causes, will continue to co-ordinate fundraising and raise awareness for the charity throughout the year from their HQ in Fareham.
Chartered surveyors make first acquisition
Fareham-based Destin 4 Chartered Surveyors has rebranded as Destin Chandler Hawkins following the acquisition of Portsmouth-based Chandler Hawkins Chartered Surveyors. With over 80 years of combined experience, the 16-strong team is now a leading local firm of independent chartered surveyors.
Managing director Ian Lee said: "We are thrilled to welcome Chandler Hawkins as our first acquisition. It has been one of the area's leading independent firms of chartered surveyors which has supported thousands of property owners over more than 30 years. This is the logical next step in our strategic growth plans."
Director Chris Green added: "We were keen to retain the iconic Chandler Hawkins name in our new branding in recognition of its rich heritage in the local property market. Since we launched Destin, our aim has been to be approachable, supportive and reassuring as well as knowledgeable, professional and reliable.
