Safety

Safety is an important consideration when we manage the Borough's beaches and slipways. There are potential risks with using the. Please be aware of hidden groynes, submerged rocks and the many activities taking place. We also ask you to be aware of the environment and the protected wildlife habitats along the coastline.

Codes of practice

Members of both kitesurfing clubs at Salterns Beach are encouraged to work within a safety code of practice. Copies of these codes of practice can be found on the following websites:
