Once you have completed steps 1-5 and the vehicle has been inspected (with a meter run in the case of a hackney carriage) we will be in a position to issue your licence.
Vehicle licences are renewed on 1 May annually, and the necessary paperwork will be issued in March/April annually to enable you to do this.
If the Council refuses to grant/renew or suspends/revokes a vehicle licence you have the right of appeal to the Magistrates Court.
