Have your say on Fareham’s Finances
Like other councils, Fareham is facing significant financial challenges, worsened by the impact of Covid-19. To tackle these challenges some difficult decisions will have to be made in order to ensure the Council can maintain a stable financial position and protect its frontline services. We have also developed some early ideas for cost savings and income generation and would like your feedback on them before deciding whether to proceed. We’d also like your feedback on Council Tax for 2021/22 and beyond.
You can have your say up to and including 19 February.
This engagement exercise took place from 19 January and 19 February 2021 and received a total of 416 responses.
On 26 February 2021, the recommendations of the Executive on the revenue budget and the level of Council Tax for 2021/22 was presented at the Council meeting. The Agenda and minutes alongside the report can be found in the link above.
