All new employees will have to work a 6 month probationary period when joining Fareham Borough Council. The probationary period allows us to make sure you are settling in and gives you the opportunity to discuss any feedback you might have. You will receive formal confirmation when you successfully complete the probationary period.

Using our Individual Performance Management process we can identify our employees' training needs and areas for development. We encourage all our employees to take responsibility for their learning and offer an online e-learning system which has hundreds of training courses that can be accessed at work or from any internet enabled device.
