Fareham Borough Council formally approved the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule on 25 April 2013 to start from 1 May 2013.
Development permitted from 1 May 2013 will be liable to pay the Levy as per the charges set out in the schedule below. Charges will be payable when development starts.
We have also published a Community Infrastructure Levy Regulation 123 List. This sets out what projects or types of infrastructure may be funded through the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). In order to prevent double charging, anything on this list cannot be funded through Planning obligations. Payment may be made by instalments in the circumstances as set out in the instalments policy below.
When you make a planning application, you will have to submit additional information to us to allow us to calculate your CIL liability and any discounts correctly.
